Since its debut in 2007, the Nissan Rogue has undergone many changes. Now in its third generation, it seems that all of those updates have paid off. Fittingly, the 2021 Nissan Rogue was recently named one of the six most improved cars by U.S. News & World Report.
With the compact SUV segment being highly competitive, it can be hard for a model to stand out. But Nissan made sure to fill the Rogue’s cabin with premium materials and ensure that drivers could feel confident behind the wheel with a bevy of driver-assist technologies. In fact, standard automatic high beam headlights and Intelligent Driver Alertness were two of the features that stood out to U.S. News and helped the Rogue improve its overall ratings.
Additional highlights that helped the 2021 Rogue land on the list included its comfortable, quiet cabin; increased rear headroom and legroom; and a new driving platform with an updated suspension and steering design. U.S. News editor Kevin Linder noted, “Overall, the ground-up redesign of the Nissan Rogue for 2021 produced a competent and well-equipped crossover SUV. It’s a comfortable SUV that can tackle just about any duty required as a daily driver.”
If you want to drive Canada’s best midsize SUV, it’s time to meet the Nissan Rogue. The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) recently named the Rogue the best midsize SUV in the country.
AJAC consists of over 100 automotive journalists from all over the country. Each journalist put eligible current vehicles through stringent testing in a variety of contexts and conditions. Each vehicle was eligible was evaluated based on road handling, safety, convenience, technology, and a variety of other criteria.
“We are honoured to accept this award from AJAC,” said Steve Milette, president of Nissan Canada Inc. “The all-new Nissan Rogue rose above the pack in a popular segment where competition is fierce. This new generation of the Rogue meets consumers’ needs with its bold all-new design, upscale interior, exceptional driving dynamics, and an array of cutting-edge safety technologies fitted as standard.”
The 2021 Rogue was completely redesigned for the new model year. It comes available with a range of premium features, including a tri-zone automatic climate control, the Divide-N-Hide® cargo management system, and leather upholstery. It also has family-friendly features like integrated rear sunshades, Rear Door Alert to remind you to look in the back seat when you exit the vehicle, and a hands-free Motion Activated Liftgate.
