The Pathfinder® has been a part of the Nissan lineup for more than 30 years and is currently in its fifth generation. Over time, the SUV has undergone a handful of changes and is now more comfortable than ever. As such, Nissan recently announced details on the 2022 Pathfinder® and what you can expect from this family hauler.
“We closely analyzed every angle to make this vehicle as versatile as possible, while also delivering on rugged capability,” said Jared Haslam, vice president of Product and Services Planning at Nissan U.S. and Canada. “Our goal was to turn Pathfinder® into a multi-tool on wheels – making this the go-to SUV for hard-working, adventurous families.”
On the outside, the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder® is approximately the same size as it has always been. But to maximize every part of the Pathfinder®, Nissan engineers carefully examined the SUV’s interior design and made necessary changes. You’ll now find an additional 10.6 cubic feet of space inside — with a new max total of 164.6 cubic feet available.
As a first for the Pathfinder®, the 2022 model can be outfitted with available captain’s chairs to add more luxury and comfort. Additionally, a new storage shelf above the glove compartment is perfect for placing sunglasses, smartphones, or other smaller items within reach. Rounding out the Pathfinder®’s convenient upgrades are the 16 total beverage holders throughout the cabin, allowing for two per occupant.
